After last year’s intense competition, the Roland-Garros eSeries is back in 2025. Players from around the world will get to step onto the virtual clay in Tennis Clash. This year’s tournament has a new team-based format, legendary tennis captains and a €5,000 prize pool on the line.

Renault and Mastercard are back as key sponsors. This time, you can customize your characters with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and use the special Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

The Roland-Garros eSeries is kicking off in March with the open qualifiers being the first battleground for players to secure a spot in the finals. There are three qualifying stages happening from March 6-11, March 20-25 and April 3-8 which will determine the elite contenders.

The top female players in the first two qualifiers will earn their place alongside the overall winners. The real test begins when the finalists face off at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th in front of a live audience. The entire event will also be streamed on Twitch.

What’s New This Year?

Unlike previous years, Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 introduces a new team-based format. Instead of going solo, finalists will be grouped into teams, each led by a major figure in French tennis. And one of these captains is already confirmed. It’s Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion.

Simon has been part of the eSeries as a commentator since 2023 and even played in 2024’s Top 8. He will be coaching one squad this year. While his rival captain is still a mystery, the organizers have teased that it’s a Grand Slam winner.

Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?

Once the teams are set, the real battle begins. The winning team from the first phase will enter the double-elimination bracket from the winner’s side, while the losing team starts in the loser’s bracket.

Meanwhile, the reigning champion, Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, is back to defend his title. He’ll be joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, you can only expect this year’s competition to be even more stacked.

Tennis Clash is also celebrating Women’s Day by offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. Get the game from the Google Play Store and gear up for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 because there’s plenty to dive into.
