If you like puzzle games, I’m sure you must have played some or the other game by Rusty Lake. On its 10th Anniversary, Rusty Lake has a bunch of surprises to mark the occasion. They’ve dropped a new game, a short film, and some hefty discounts on their games.
Rusty Lake’s long roster of successes includes the Cube Escape series, the Rusty Lake series and other individual games like The Past Within. To date, they’ve launched 18 games across different platforms.
Rusty Lake was started by Robin Ras and Maarten Looise in Amsterdam. All their games are set in an interconnected universe and draw heavy inspiration from David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. Every game, even the standalone ones, feeds into the same bizarre and tangled lore.
Their New Launch Carries Forward Their Legacy
The new game is called The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show, and it’s available on Android, iOS, Steam, and itch.io. Rusty Lake launched the game as a bonus 10th Anniversary gift for their players, so it’s free to play.
If you’ve been following the studio since the early Cube Escape days in 2015, their new game has all the classic features alongside weird, surreal puzzles. You can read all about the game in our latest article.
Rusty Lake Is Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary with Discounts
The team also dropped The Intern, a short film on YouTube. It’s part behind-the-scenes and part celebration of the series’ history. You can watch the film right here.
Rusty Lake is also having a platform-wide sale going on right now. You get up to 66% off all premium Rusty Lake titles on Android, iOS, Nintendo eShop and Steam. There’s even a free remake of Samsara Room and the full Cube Escape Collection.
Lastly, there’s limited edition merch available through Lost In Cult. There’s a new anniversary edition of The Paradox Comic Book, Rusty Lake: Sounds of the Lake 10th Anniversary Vinyl Collection, and a Rusty Lake-themed deck of cards designed by Maarten Pelders.
So, check out the Rusty Lake games on the Google Play Store if you haven’t already.
