S.M.T.H. phone tossing game finds a home on Google Play after rejection from Apple

A new and rather unique game has arrived onto Google Play yesterday called S.M.T.H. (Send Me To Heaven) by Carrot Pop. Originally this game was rejected by Apple because the game ‘encouraging behavior that could result in damage to the user’s device’. Of course there is no problem with Carrot Pop putting this game onto Android and so here we are with S.M.T.H. now being available on Google Play.

This game is pretty straightforward in regards to what you have to do. First you take your phone and place it in your hand. Make sure you have a good grip on it to ensure you have plenty of power behind it. You will then proceed to toss your phone as high as you can into the air. The higher you get, the better your score.

Your phone will measure the results and those will be saved and posted to a variety of leaderboards such as World Top 10, Week Top 10 and Daily Top 10. You will need to enable GPS on your phone if you plan to compete in local phone tossing competitions. Of course it is always good to make sure you are able to catch your phone on the way down. Another good tip is to make sure it won’t hit anyone.

So while Apple wants to dictate what you can and can’t do with your phone, at least in regards to whether or not you want to toss it into the air, you are more than welcome to download S.M.T.H. (available for free) and enjoy the freedom of possibly smashing your phone on the group while attempting to score big on the leaderboards. Tablet gamers are also welcome to play this.
