A couple of weeks ago we talked about a new Kairosoft game that hit the Japanese Google Play store called Kingdom Pyramid Excavation. True to Kairosoft’s rather swift turnaround time when it comes to bringing their games to international waters, Kingdom Pyramid Excavation is now available for everyone but it is under a new name for its international release, The Pyraplex.
Essentially The Pyraplex is a Mega Mall Story type of game but themed around Egypt and the pyramids, well one pyramid that is, your very own one to build up. You’ll be building up your pyramid to be the center of attention, attracting tourists and consumers to come visit it, purchase goods and enjoy the attractions you add to your special place in the desert.
The Pyraplex isn’t just themed around the pyramid though, it is actually set in that time period. That means you will be able to attract visitors such as Aztec chiefs or Roman centurions and even more exotic people. As these visitors come to check out your pyramid, you’ll be eventually able to set up trade with those civilizations which will unlock new features and attractions to add to your pyramid as well as crafting new items to sell. You will also have to harvest resources as well, such as stone, in order to expand. Along the way you may even find some hidden treasure.
If you’re ready to write off the free time you thought you had this weekend then head on over to Google Play and grab a copy of The Pyraplex for the usual price of $4.99. Some people are reporting an authentication error when trying to open the game for the first time. If that happens, just close it and reopen it. If the problem persist, just try clearing your Google Play app’s cache in the settings of your device.
