Scott Games pulls FNAF World from Steam. Mobile version most likely delayed as well.

Since the recent release of FNAF World by Scott Games onto Steam, people have liked the game conceptually. In terms of execution, however, there have been several complaints and criticism coming from the game’s player base. Even Scott Cawthon said he released it a little too early and as of today he has decided to finally pull the game off the market.

The players of FNAF World almost completely agree that the game lacks features and quality that was expected of the game when it launched. Cawthon himself said he released it too early and that the game was missing features. That was followed by an apology and an announcement that the game would be getting new features and the like in the coming weeks. Instead of just waiting, he decided to pull the game off Steam due to the reviews and ratings it was continuing to receive, even though it was sitting at an 87% positive. What’s nice though is that he told Valve to refund everyone who had purchased the game if they want a refund.

As you may well be guessing, this also means that the mobile version of this game will be delayed as well. Plans for the game haven’t stopped though. He still plans to work on it, which is currently getting an entire 3D world built right now in it. The game will more than likely still end up being free on mobile, but as for when it will arrive, the wait will be a fair bit longer now than anticipated.
