[Updated] Serious Sam franchise to debut on Android sometime this month

While it won’t be an FPS (first-person shooter) game like it’s big brother, the Serious Sam franchise will be making it’s way onto Android (and iOS) this month in the form of a running platformer. In fact you won’t even be playing as Sam but instead as Sam’s rival, Headless Kamikaze, instead.

This is one of those games where you will automatically be running and it is your job to reach the end of each stage with your ultimate goal being to destroy Sam. As you are running you will have to avoid obstacles that appear in your way and dodge gunfire some Sam as well. You will do this for each of the 40 levels that will be coming with the game when it is released. All 40 levels will feature hand-drawn art as well.

Aside from the 40 levels, there are also 5 bonus levels that are endless which will also be tied to leaderboard. The better you are at keeping yourself alive during these endless levels, the higher up on the leaderboard you will get, hopefully. This game also has some innteresting and humorous features such as the ability to ‘spam’ your friends Facebook page with your progress through the endless levels. We are sure the ‘spamming’ will be done in some humorous fashion considering the press release, according to PocketGamer, also contained things like “Sweet Ass Credits” and one of the killer features is the credits include first and last names.

There is no exact release date or price for Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack just yet but it is planned for release sometime this month. Until then, enjoy the incredibly small screenshots.
