Electronic Arts is bringing a new SimCity game to Android in the form of SimCity BuildIt. This isn’t the first SimCity game on Android, SimCity Deluxe was previously available but has been taken down from the Google Play store.
Touted as being a “SimCity game like you’ve never seen before, designed for gamers on the go” the game’s official page says it will have ” 3D-quality graphics.” Gameplay wise there is not much known on how this edition will be like other SimCity games. I don’t know if the statement that it is like something we have never seen before is a promise or a threat.
The most recent SimCity on PC left a bad taste in many players’ mouths, so how this game will be similar or different should make for an interesting release to follow. Presumably a free to play title, it will also have to follow another previous EA debacle caused by Dungeon Keeper.
