Marie’s Full Release and Availability
Marie takes center stage in Skullgirls Mobile Version 6.1, marking her full release into the standard relic pool. Players can now find her in various relic types, including Premiere, Jackpot, and Elemental.
The update introduces Marie’s Prize Fights, providing exciting challenges and rewarding players with guaranteed Marie Fighters at top milestones.
Additionally, Marie’s character relic, the Resurrection Relic, becomes purchasable during her prize fight. This offers a guaranteed way to enhance and evolve this unique character.
New Monthly Fighters and Parallel Realms of Skullgirls Mobile Version 6.1
The 6.1 update introduces six new fighters, with Gold and Diamond variants debuting monthly in Event Relics. These fighters will later become widely available.
Parallel Realms now features recruitment nodes, allowing players to choose from three possible fighters for their run. These recruits disappear after the Realms reset, including a random Marie and Monthly Fighter.
The 6.1 update is bringing a massive rebalancing of catalysts in a significant shake-up. Several changes aim to refresh the Rift meta from general to character-specific and element-specific catalysts.
Backstage Pass adjustments include a new ‘CLAIM ALL’ button, renaming the Premium Pass to the All Access Pass, and a magnifying glass to view monthly art.
Unlocking a new Fighter’s Skill Tree is now more convenient with the introduction of the UNLOCK ALL button. A warning message alerts players attempting to enter a fight with no moves equipped, providing an opportunity to ensure proper load-outs.
First-time coin offering a 5x bonus for Canopy Coins, enhancing the initial purchase value. Marie-related adjustments in the economy include adding Marie Skill Points to Pink and Gold Gifts and reducing Marie Moves, Skill Points, and Retakes to standard prices.
December Events and Celebrations
Various events accompany the 6.1 launch throughout December. The 12 Days of Gifting, starting on December 14th, offers a daily gift in the store.
A free Marie Daily Pass, featuring multiple guaranteed Marie Fighters, can be claimed from December 25th to January 1st. The Hyper Fighter Variety Pack Sale, the 2023 Event Jackpot Relic Bonanza, and the 2024 Character Relic Bonanza provide exciting opportunities for players.
