There is nothing quite like driving a giant mechanized robotic suit equipped with a plethora of weaponry and raining down justice and destruction onto whatever your target happens to be at that moment in time. Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot of games, let alone good ones, that allow us Android gamers to do that.
Well soon we will have a game that will be offering us the ability to drive a giant mechanized robot into battle with aliens in an upcoming game called Mechs vs Aliens. While we can’t comment just yet on whether or not this will fall into the ‘good game’ category, judging from the teaser trailer it does have the potential to fit into the short list of great games featuring Mechs.
There isn’t a ton of details regarding this game right now but we do know it is being made by Animoca’s sister company called Turnout Ventures. We also know that there will be different types of mechs available, each model being distinguished from its country of origin and each having their own unique traits. The Japan Mech for example has more nimbleness and extra firepower. Right now we know of a Japan Mech, France Mech and the USA Mech but there will be more when the game is released.
Speaking about the game’s release, no time frame has been given as to when Mechs vs Aliens will launch, only that it is coming soon to mobile. The above teaser trail is for the USA Mech while the teaser trailer below is for the France Mech.
