Hasbro’s classic game of apologies and revenge has finally got a mobile/digital version. Sorry! World, developed by Gameberry Labs in collaboration with Hasbro, is now live on Android globally. It’s the first time the popular board game has been officially adapted for mobile.
Sorry! is an immensely popular family board game based on the ancient Indian cross and circle game Pachisi. You move three or four pieces around the board, attempting to get all of the pieces home before the other players (a bit like Ludo).
What’s in Sorry! World?
The game gives you a chance to bump rivals back to the Start screen from anywhere in the world. Sorry! World wraps it in a colourful, animated setting with a few additional features.
In Sorry! World, the objective is straightforward. You move all of your pawns from the Start area into your Home zone before anyone else does.
Each match allows two to four players, each choosing a colour and placing three pawns in their designated Start area. A shuffled deck of cards determines every move.
On your turn, you draw a card and follow its instructions. Some cards push your pawn forward, others drag it back, and a few even let you swap places with another player.
Then there’s the special Sorry card. Drawing it lets you kick any opponent’s pawn off the board, replacing it with one of your own and sending their piece right back to Start.
The board is full of risk and reward. Landing on another player’s space bumps them back to where they began. While the final stretch to Home acts as a safety zone where nobody can touch you. Pawns must enter Home by an exact count.
You can pick quirky avatars, build towns, and climb competitive ranks. There’s a social element, too, where you can connect, chat, and compete in global leagues.

Sorry! World introduces limited-time events and side activities as well. The current Sky Rush event runs until November 3rd. It challenges you to race through the clouds, collect tokens, and climb leaderboards before time runs out.
The Halloween Hunt event is also live, featuring spooky card packs and a collection book full of Halloween-themed rewards. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store.
