If you haven’t gotten enough RPG news from Square Enix the last couple of weeks, here is another nugget of information for you to salivate over. Apparently Square Enix is working on a new RPG that will be ‘Hardware-Free’, allowing gamers to play and access it anywhere.
This new RPG is being head up by Square Enix producer Ryutaro Ichimura who was responsible for a few titles in the Dragons Quest series. Whatever this game is, we do know it will be an Action-RPG and that you will be able to play it at home on your TV before logging out, jumping on your mobile device and playing it on the go. You can then pick the game back up on a TV when you are home or somewhere that you can access it on a TV.
Unfortunately that is all we know about this mystery RPG right now although we expect more details to be released soon. We don’t even know if this will be cloud driven or browser-based. We just know that it is coming from Square Enix which makes the probability of this game being bad ass high.
