Subway Surfers is turning 13 this month, so SYBO is planning something big for the players worldwide. You’ll be on a globe-trotting marathon with Subway Surfers on its 13th Anniversary. The event is kicking off on May 12th.
The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!
It’s starting with Copenhagen. The 13th Anniversary update of Subway Surfers drops some new content into the Danish capital and then dives into a new kind of daily city-hopping challenge.
You’ll get to run through not just Copenhagen, but also unlock up to 21 other cities like Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To travel to all these extravagant destinations, you need to collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each location to unlock the next one.
The update brings in the 200th destination in the World Tour series. In case you don’t know, Subway Surfers has been doing the global rotation thing since 2013. Currently, they’re in Osaka celebrating the Golden Week.
Osaka is filled with neon lights, traditional touches, and exclusive content to explore. Saru and Oni Hime are the newest characters dropping in.
Saru is unlockable via the Season Challenge, and Oni Hime is up for grabs in a special offer. Also, new social features like Player Names and Friend Lists are rolling out. Take a look at it right here.
