There is a new puzzle game on the Android Market from developers Flyweight Games called Test Chamber. This particular puzzle game is one in which you will be pushing blocks around in order to get to the exit in each stage. It is easier said then done though.
You will have to also be able to block strange contraptions that get in your way as well as things such as lasers. It gets even weirder, and more challenging, as the standard laws of physics do not apply in this minimalistic world.
Test Chamber Features:
– Inspired by timeless classics like Bolo and Sokoban.
– Simple, clean, graphics style.
– Brain-warping otherworldly geometry. (Physics be damnned!)
– Calming jazzy soundtrack.
– Many brutally challenging levels; the product of a twisted mind.
– Lasers!
This is definitely heavily influenced by the Sokoban style of gaming in terms of having to push blocks around to get to the exit. It gets all kinds of challenging though with the warped laws of physics in this game. Graphically it is a very minimalistic feeling game but it works well considering the theme of the game being you are a test subject of the test chamber trying to reach freedom.
If you are up for some minimalistic goodness and a definitely challenging puzzle game, you can nab Test Chamber off of the Android Market for $1.00. Amazingly enough, this game hasn’t even broken the 1-5 downloads mark which almost makes us want to make this title a hidden gem.
