The Battle of Polytopia has finally released the fiery Solaris on mobile. It was launched for PC a few months ago, and now the blazing alter-ego of the frosty Polaris tribe is on mobile. And they’re here to burn the Square to ashes!
The Solaris Makes Everything Hot in The Battle of Polytopia
The new Solaris skin turns ice into an inferno, snow into ash, and peaceful lakes into pools of lava. It’s the same tribe, technically. But now they’ve swapped their cold-hearted tactics for something way more combustible.
There is some spicy lore in this update as well. It all ties back to a war that’s been going on forever, wrecking entire worlds in the process. The icy Polaris had already made contact with the mysterious Gaami, but now things are heating up with the arrival of the Ralmi.
The Ralmi are the fire-wielding invaders who have clawed their way up from underground and set their sights on the Square. Their first act is shackling the Solaris and spreading their fire magic across the land.
The Solaris Have a Few Tricks Up Their Sleeves
They can turn water into solid lava which changes the way you navigate the map. Their units, like the Pyro, burn everything around them when they move, while Ash Archers can petrify enemy troops.
There’s also the Steam Wagon, which zooms over lava rivers. And if you want to expand the empire, Lava Banks let you generate stars by setting the terrain on fire. Catch a glimpse of the Solaris in The Battle of Polytopia below.
You can master things like Heatwork for crater-building, Geothermics for volcanic turbines, and Explosives to keep things dramatic. Meanwhile, The Ralmi have brought along some nasty tricks like the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
