A really neat indie game has arrived on Google Play called The Gentleman by Christopher Buckley. This is a rather unique little game where you control the Gentleman who is out searching for his Monocle. Not just any Monocle will do of course since he wants his special one and not some two-bit crap monocle. So he will continue on his journey to find his Monocle by collecting as many of them as he can because eventually one will end up being his.
Aside from the fact that The Gentleman has some pretty unique art, with everything mostly being black and white, this is pretty much a platformer game that contains wall jumping, normal jumping, running and so on, all while moving in style with his cane. The challenging part in this game comes from the blocks he walks on, with several of them having different effects such as dropping down or only appearing in shadows. These effects from the blocks are also dependent on the path you choose to take.
As you continue to progress in the game each level will become increasingly more difficult than the last. You are also on a bit of a time limit as well. Overall The Gentleman is a pretty interesting game and if you are up for finding this Gentleman’s Monocle, then you can grab a copy of The Gentleman off of Google Play for $0.99.
