Feral Interactive has brought another piece of Creative Assembly’s strategy classic. It’s Total War: Napoleon, which is now out on Android. The game brings the full desktop package, DLC and all. The last mobile release in the series was Total War: Empire, which was released in November 2024.
Another addition to the series!
Total War: Napoleon traces the rise and collapse of Napoleon Bonaparte across two turbulent decades that reshaped Europe. There’s turn-based empire management and large real-time land and naval battles.
Three major campaign modes approach the era from a different political angle. Napoleon’s Campaigns focus directly on the ambitions of the Little Corporal. They follow his journey from early battles in Alpine Italy and Egypt to the imperial height of French dominance. You get options to overturn the famously disastrous ending to his rule (remember Waterloo?).
However, if you’re more interested in resisting France rather than expanding it, the Campaigns of the Coalition is for you. It places the player at the head of Austria, Great Britain, Prussia or Russia. In a fictional twist, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and the Ottoman Empire join the roster as playable factions exclusively on mobile.
Meanwhile, Total War: Napoleon explores a separate story thread in The Peninsular Campaign. Spain, Portugal and Britain attempt to drive out French forces occupying Iberia. This one’s full of guerrilla tactics and the disruptive work of irregular agents.
Get Total War: Napoleon on mobile!
Napoleon’s Battles has twelve recreations of major engagements in the game. You can replay or completely rewrite clashes like Trafalgar, Austerlitz, the Nile and Waterloo. All previously released DLC is part of the game. They add 27 extra units, the Iberian Campaign of the Peninsular War, and the 1807 Battle of Friedland in Prussia.
The mobile version of Total War: Napoleon is available on the Google Play Store for $14.99. It offers Android keyboard and mouse support.
