If you don’t feel like purchasing Paradise Quest to fulfill your desire to play match 3 or more object removing puzzle style games then you can always check out the beta release of Treasure Hunt by PajeSystems. It has a neat little storyline behind it and the basic idea of the game is to match 3 or more of the same colored treasure chests in order to get back the gold the Pirates stole from you.
The graphics are actually not that bad although some could be improved on like the character who narrates the story and the chests. Also the ability to fast forward through the beginning story would be great. The board could also be slightly bigger but then again this is a beta so expect improvements on the game before the full version is released. The beta download is free for testing purposes.
You need to collect a certain amount of gold per level before the pirate ship makes it’s way to the top of the screen on the left side. On my G1 with the ‘Free more space’ message active, the game ran pretty smoothly with no real lag at all. Definitely worth checking out for a bit of a fun time waster while it’s free and in it’s beta.
