The Undawn release date is finally here! You can now download the game on mobile, tablet, and PC. Luckily, it’s been a smooth launch day so far, with no delays or emergency maintenance announcements.

For more information about the game, visit the official website. If you can’t wait to get your hands on Undawn, you can download it on Google Play or Steam.

Pre-Download Compensation

However, there were issues with the pre-download period and character customisation yesterday. This has resulted in the developers providing compensation for players in the form of 8,000 Silver Coins, 1000 Coupons, and 1 Material Supply Pack. The official Undawn Twitter page states these freebies will appear in your in-game mail within 3 days.

The pre-download period started a couple of days ago, allowing avid players to get straight into the action during today’s launch. With stars like Will Smith appearing in promotional media for Undawn, it’s no surprise that there’s a lot of hype behind the open-world survival game.

A Mobile Game Through and Through – But How’s the PC Port?

The game itself features a wide range of survival elements, such as character needs, weapons collecting, infected monsters, tricky terrains, and various weather systems. As you can tell, there’s quite a bit to it.

Undawn is primarily a mobile game, but it does have a PC port. As the game has only just launched today, we haven’t been able to test out the PC version just yet. Although, the Steam reviews are currently pretty negative.

Many players are reporting that the game behaves and feels better on a mobile device rather than a PC. It’s important to note that these issues may be launch day blips. Developers often take player feedback into account during the first 24 hours of a game’s release, so a patch could be around the corner.
