Upcoming MMORPG for mobile Toram Online updated with new maps and more

Asobimo Inc. has been responsible for a few rather good MMORPGs for mobile devices including the recently released Izanagi Online which turned out to be pretty good back when we went hands-on with it while in beta form. Since then it has grown nicely. The company also has a few MMORPGs currently in beta testing as well, some of which have been in beta testing for awhile. One of those is Toram Online, which is currently available for beta testing in certain locations (mainly Asia), and today it has been updated with some new content to check out.

Toram Online is a full 3D MMORPG where player can complete the storyline quests, explore and defeat monsters, and all those good things found in MMORPGs. There are no classes in this game though. Instead everyone makes a character and then customizes it to their style of gameplay through the use of equipping different weapons, armor, items, as well as obtaining different skills. Even though Toram Online is a location-specific beta, anyone can pretty much download the game off of the official Toram website. You might not be able to understand a whole lot, but you’ll be able to play it at least! With that said, the new update opens up some more content in Toram Online, including a whole new boss to beat on.

The two new maps are “Icule Lake” and “Nisel Mountain”, both of which are pretty big in size. Both maps also include new monsters that have no been available anywhere else. These monsters are also substantially stronger than the rest of the monsters current in the game. In other words, unless you’re strong, you won’t be going to these two new maps unless you don’t mind dying while exploring.

Somewhere in one of the two new maps there also happens to be a new boss which is a part of the storyline missions. Needless to say, this dragon will be a pretty tough boss to beat in the game’s current beta testing, unless you’re quite high level.

Right now new players who join the beta will be rewarded with 15 Orbs (worth around $12(, which are in-game items used for various things like opening treasure chests which contain special items. Anything you gain from these treasure chest will be transferred over when the game moves from beta testing to officially launched status.
