Every so often we open up the doors to see who wants to join the team here at DroidGamers, and today is the start of that once again. With the expansion we have going, we have a few open spots for people interested in joining our team here and being at the forefront of Android gaming news.
Update: November 14th, 2016, 9:18am PST: Just a quick note to let everyone who has applied know that we have gone through all the applications we have received and we will begin contacting everyone starting today. So keep an eye on your inboxes!
Do you enjoy playing a ridiculous amount of Android games and voicing your opinion about each one? Or are you all about being one of the first people to play a new Android game the moment it is released, or getting in on the action when a game is in beta? How about attending events like CES, GDC, PAX, E3, and so on? If any of those questions are answered with a yes, then you’ll want to consider submitting an email with your interest for joining our team.
So what positions are available? Well we are looking for a few dedicated news hounds who are up for reporting Android gaming news, while also looking for a couple of dedicated reviewers. We also would like to fill a couple of spots for covering more specific topics, like hardware news, mobile eSports, virtual reality news, and so on. Lastly, we are looking for a couple of people interested in streaming gameplay on DroidTV.
If you have experience writing, that is always a plus but is not necessary. You do need to know English well. We do require that applicants need to be at least 18 years of age, although interested individuals who are 16+ years old can be considering if you are dedicated to working. Location doesn’t matter and, in fact, we encourage people from all over the world to apply. If you can work nights or weekends, that is a definite bonus, but all shifts are available.
We are not going to lie to you, this is actual work but it is fulfilling, fast-paced and fun. If you are someone whom takes initiative to complete tasks, takes pride in their work and is a self-starter whom can snoop and scoop out their own stories, then hit us up.
