Vampire Survivors DLC The Legacy of Moonspell Confirmed For Android

The Vampire Survivors DLC, The Legacy Of The Moonspell launches today on PC and consoles, but the Android version was suspiciously absent. Not to worry though, as developer Poncle confirmed in a tweet that it’s coming, just a little later.

If you’ve been playing Vampire Survivors this week until you got blisters on your thumbs, you probably aren’t alone. The fiendishly simple gothic rogue-like goes together perfectly with mobile gaming.

RIP Your Free Time

It’s pretty compulsive playing, so you could be forgiven for blowing through the content and seeing a lot of what the game has to offer already.

You could also be forgiven for thinking that it would take some time for the new port to catch up with the PC release in terms of content. It seems Poncle is out to try and prove us wrong.

The Vampire Survivors DLC on Android does not have a confirmed release date. The word from Poncle is a release ‘soon’. You can interpret that statement as you wish.

Legacy Of The Moonspell is Vampire Survivors’ first DLC, and as you might expect from the game, it’s a meaty piece of content.

Further East, Still Spooky

The DLC takes you to a feudal Japan-inspired setting, though as you might expect from Vampire Survivors, the place is just as infested with monsters as its European counterpart.

Legacy Of The Moonspell introduces eight new characters, thirteen new weapons, and an absolutely massive new stage. It’s twenty-five times the size of any of the stages that came before it, so expect to be there for some time.

The trailer for the DLC on the Poncle Games YouTube channel gives the slightly surreal experience of seeing Vampire Survivors characters fully rendered in some very pretty 2D animation, giving their intro an appropriate anime feel.

Here’s hoping we get our port very soon, though it’s probably going to be a struggle to get through the base game before the drop.
