Remember Vampire’s Fall: Origins, the dark fantasy RPG that dropped in 2018? If you played it, I’m sure you’ve experienced its gloomy world of witches, vampires, and militia recruits. Well, the game now has a sequel called Vampire’s Fall 2, and it has launched on Android today.

The original had you starting off as a fresh-faced recruit in a sleepy village called Vamp’Ire. The village people were living peacefully until some rumours about a Witchmaster started floating around. Vampire’s Fall 2, however, is a bit different from the first one.

It’s an Open World Now

Vampire’s Fall 2 has a 2D open world, which feels more alive than the prequel. You start as a vampire, dealing with abilities and powers that shift how you approach fights.

Combat happens directly in the same world you explore. You can see your weapons, armour, and character details while moving and fighting.

The levelling system is better this time. Instead of static skill trees, each level-up gives you randomised stat boosts. So, you can tweak your build around your own playstyle.

The game is tactical, too. Battles require you to think a bit, especially when using HP and FP potions, because every move takes up a turn. There’s a range of weapons, with six special types like daggers and katanas.

Will You Try Vampire’s Fall 2?

Early Morning Studio, the folks behind the game, have clearly tried to build on what people liked about the original. Just like the first one, the dialogues are humorous and customisation is pretty deep.

They also added chat directly into the UI, so you can keep talking while you play without breaking the flow. And if you want to join in a PvP battle, you don’t have to grind for hours before challenging someone else.

Get Vampire’s Fall 2 from the Google Play Store.
