Mi-clos studio has teamed up with french indie developer NO CVT and Black Muffin to develop a new episodic point-and-click adventure game called Void & Meddler. Taking place in the future, Void & Meddler is a dark cyberpunk themed game which follows the story of Fyn who has spend the last two years just wandering about with no goals and no real memories.
Hanging around weird strangers and scavengers, Fyn decided to one night put a stop to all of this meaningless wandering about and having no direction in her life. So Fyn has decided to do this all within one night, to change everything and make things right for her, and maybe even get a little bit of her humanity back which she seems to have lost over the past two years. As you can probably tell, this is a pretty dark atmospheric type of game.
Void & Meddler Features:
– A 3 episodes non-linear point&click adventure.
– A dark, poetic and cyberpunk universe.
– Puzzles can be resolved in several ways.
– Surreal atmosphere inspired by Philip.K.Dick, William Gibson, David Cronenberg, Shinya Tsukamoto and Gregg Araki.

Void & Meddler won’t be a linear point-and-click adventure game. In other words players will have multiple paths that they can take when making decisions for Fyn. This also means that the puzzle you come across in this game will also have more than one way to solve them. The soundtrack will be done by NO CVT which is made up of two guys (Dorian SRED and Trevor) who ave been a part of the analog electronic/synthwave music scene for awhile and now develop games on top of that.
Black Muffin will also be helping with the game’s development which also happens to be two graphic designers who recently won the VRJam first prize organized by Oculus. They will be doing the visuals in this game, with their style bouncing back and forth between pixel art and comic book style. Then you have Mi-clos Studios who are responsible for Out There on Android and will be developing this game as well. So it will be interesting to see all these styles come together in this game when it launches.
The first episode of Void & Meddler is slated for release onto PC/Mac through Steam this October 2015. While there is no specific time frame for this game’s mobile release, it is confirmed to be coming to mobile devices. In the meantime, you can check out a playable prototype of this game. Once we know more about when the mobile release will happen, and confirm it for Android, we will post an update.
