Earlier this month gumi announced a new WAKFU game that would be heading to Android soon called WAKFU Raiders. Pretty much at around the same time as our original article came out, closed beta sign-ups went live and if you happened to have signed up for the closed beta, you may have already received your acceptance email.
For those of you who missed our previous article, WAKFU Raiders has players becoming the emissaries of the master Yakusha, who has brought you to him in order to charge you with the task of finding out more information about the strange anomalies that have been showing up all over the world of Twelve, and more specifically, in the Etatim Dimension. That’s the short version of the storyline and the short version description of the gameplay is that this is an Action-RPG with 30 different characters to collect, level up, and evolve, each with their own unique abilities. There is both solo content as well as multiplayer content including PvP. Definitely check out our original article for a lot more details about WAKFU Raiders.
If you managed to sign up for the closed beta, and were selected to participate, you should have received your acceptance email already, although some are still going out. We got ours today even though the closed beta began two days ago. The closed beta runs until June 28th, 2015 and if you have received your invite, you will need to join the closed beta Google+ group as well. One final thing to note, all progress and character you’ve made in the closed beta will be erased at the end, which is pretty standard practice for closed betas. With that said, do NOT make any purchases in this game during the closed beta.
As you are probably aware, since we are in the closed beta, you can expect some hands-on preview goodness coming soon.
