Warbits is getting a major makeover as Warbits+. Risky Lab is rolling out this new version of the popular strategy game with a full-on remake from scratch to play nice with the latest and greatest systems out there. The original version launched back in 2016, so I guess the devs decided it was time for a complete redo to stay up to date!
What’s New In Warbits+?
Time moves fast and tech moves faster. So, Warbits+ isn’t holding back on features. It’ll have cross-platform play, quality-of-life improvements and then some. You’ll be able to dive into a solid campaign, challenge mode to test your strategies and a map editor for some creative fun.

For those who’ve been following along since the title’s early days, you’ll recall the crux of the Warbits storyline. It’s about a virtual war between rival nations to sort out political beef. But then, there’s a glitch in the system that starts causing trouble for everyone involved.
Just like the original version, Warbits+ will have that same isometric, simplistically charming turn-based gameplay. You’ll be dropping armies onto a square grid and going all out against your opponent. Using each unit’s strengths, the map’s terrain and various power-ups, you’ll take down the enemy in the best way possible.
