Warhammer 40000: Tacticus is launching a Halloween-special survival event called the Space Hulk. It’s launching on October 26th, 2025, pulling you deep into the dark corridors of fused derelict warships. Keep reading to know all about it.

Fused derelict warships where the Genestealer threat hides in every shadow

It’s a return to the roots of one of the most iconic Warhammer battles. Space Marines versus Tyranids, now adapted into the mobile strategy format of Tacticus by Snowprint Studios.

The survival event follows the spirit of the original Space Hulk tabletop game from 1989. It’s known for its claustrophobic battles and tense exploration. In Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, you enter a labyrinth of halls packed with endless waves of Genestealers and Tyranids.

Each survival run uses a token, and your team starts with a lower rarity cap that gradually increases as you clear more waves. Power-ups like healing, damage boosts, shields, or resurrects drop between waves, helping squads stay alive a little longer.

Units that fall can be replaced if you’ve got reinforcement points. But deployment rules change between runs, and some attempts restrict how many units you can field. Scoring depends on damage, kills, and wave clears, with bonuses for starting new waves early.

Once you finish the survival mode, the update transitions into a campaign event pitting the Adeptus Sororitas and Black Templars against the Death Guard. It follows Tacticus’ usual event setup, with faction-based requirements, linear progression, and new reward tracks.

October brings more than the Space Hulk Survival Event to Warhammer 40000: Tacticus

Right now, you can unlock the Rukkatrukk Machine of War. Meanwhile, on October 19th, The Patermine’s Legendary Event goes live. The major Halloween update also brings arena improvements, along with a complete rework for Abaddon and the Black Legion.

There’s a lot of things to check out. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store.
