World’s largest Android tablet measures in at 65 inches, fruits in Fruit Ninja as big as your head.

While this is a more of a humorous post than anything, Engadget got wind of the world’s largest Android tablet which measures in at 65″, runs Honeycomb and runs at 1080p HD resolution. To put this into perspective, the average home flat screen TV is between 42″-50″ in size.

While this being any sort of portable device is pretty a dead idea, it is actually a functioning table running Android’s Honeycomb OS and comes with full touch screen controls. While most people would look at this and come to the conclusion that this sort of thing would be great for companies and doing presentations or educational purposes for teaching people any number of things in all levels of institutions. What really matters is gaming on this thing.

Thankfully the people responsible for this behemoth Android tablet, Ardic Technology, decided to play a game of Fruit Slice which is basically a Fruit Ninja knock-off. The fruit are pretty much life size and you can slice away to your heart’s content while standing in front of this massive tablet. They also happened to film it which you can see in the video above. I’d love to see some of the more high-end games on this thing like some of the upcoming Triple-A titles heading our way.

Obviously this is more of an industry/educational piece of equipment that may actually get funded for production according to Ardic. However, I’ll be more than happy to put one of these bad boys in my house.
