Kuro Games has given a sneak peek into the upcoming Version 2.6 of Wuthering Waves during the Preview Special Broadcast. Titled By Sun’s Scourge, By Moon’s Revelation, it will be released across all platforms on August 28th.
Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 will continue the ongoing main story by introducing two new chapters. They are Chapter II Act VIII By Sun’s Burning Hand and Chapter II Act IX By Moon’s Fated Light. Alos, you can log in during the Gifts of the Moon Roamer event to receive 10 Radiant Tide and 10 Forging Tide.
Exploration is the major highlight of Wuthering Waves Version 2.6
Sanguis Plateaus is the new region, bringing a fresh setting for both the main quest and multiple themed events. You’ll take part in area exploration through Hunt of Ash and Steel and photo collection through Prints of Plateaus. There’s also a tower defense-style challenge titled Tidal Defense Simulator.
Other limited-time events will also be available at different periods during Version 2.6. The events are Sanguis Plateaus Travel Atlas, Gifts of the Hunt, Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra), Marks of the Wild, Moonlit Revelation, Beyond the Waves: Rinascita and Back to Solaris.
A new batch of Echoes are joining, including The False Sovereign and Lady of the Sea and Corrosaurus. There are several Nightmare variants like Gulpuff, Chirpuff, Cyan-Feathered Heron, Violet-Feathered Heron, Aero Predator and Electro Predator. There will also be new Phantom Echoes, Phantom: Fallacy of No Return and Phantom: Kerasaur.
And there are new combat challenges
The Tactical Hologram: Lady of the Sea will test your builds in a more focused setting. Meanwhile, the new Resonators will be featured in two separate phases of the upcoming Resonator Convene banners.
Phase I will bring Eternal Radiance on the Crown (Augusta), When Silence Tolls (Carlotta) and Till the Sea Turns Clear (The Shorekeeper). Phase II will include Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes (Iuno) and Through Verses and Rhythms (Ciaccona). Their signature weapons will be accessible through the Weapon Convene banners.
Phase I will feature Thunderflare Dominion for Augusta, The Last Dance for Carlotta and Stellar Symphony for The Shorekeeper. Phase II will feature Moongazer’s Sigil for Iuno and Woodland Aria for Ciaccona. In addition, players can acquire the Hunter’s Growl Series via the Pioneer Podcast’s Insider Channel.
