The X-Files is making a triumphant return next year, though not in the way you’re thinking. It’s coming back as a mobile game The X-Files: Deep State.
We don’t know an awful lot about it so far, but we do know that you’ll play as a paranormal detective. It will play like a hidden object puzzler, with you presumably trying to find ghostly evidence.

You’ll work alongside Agent Dale and other FBI agents to solve cases.
You can also customise your in-game appearance, and will occasionally have to make difficult decisions that affect the story. In that sense, it’s quite similar to TellTale’s games.
