There is nothing quite like driving a giant mechanized robotic suit equipped with a plethora of weaponry and raining down justice and destruction onto whatever your target happens to be at that moment in time. Unfortunately there isn’t a whole lot of games, let alone good ones, that allow us Android gamers to do that.
About a week ago Ubisoft announced a trio of games that would be making their way to Android in the near future. Well the first of those three games is now available on Google Play called Rabbids Big Bang so all you Rabbids fans out there have a game featuring them that you can play while on the go.
One of the features that Nvidia’s Shield was announced to have was the ability to stream PC games to it so you can play those game on your Shield. While the short term goal was local streaming from your own PC, the long term goal is to have streaming available no matter where you are as long as you have an internet connection. This would be through Nvidia’s GRID streaming service which we’ve talked about a few times already.
Tactical turn-based combat game on Steam called Aerena – Clash of Champions coming to Android in the future
Another game on Steam has announced some additional platforms that it will be available on in the future after its release on Steam. Developed by Cliffhanger Productions, Aerena – Clash of Champions and is a tactical turn-based combat strategy game which will feature cross-platform multiplayer. This is the second game this week that we have reported on that will feature this kind of cross-platform support.
Altered Beast and Golden Axe will be making a special appearance in Kingdom Conquest II next month
Sege has just announced that two classic games will be making a special appearance in their Kingdom Conquest II game in order to celebrate the upcoming 25th anniversary for the 1988 debut of the Mega Drive console. Players will have a chance to snag booster packs themed around Altered Beast and Golden Axe next month.
The company behind the Havok game engine for game developers and the new Project Anarchy mobile game developer suite are hosting the Project Anarchy Mobile Game Dev Challenge. Mobile game developers will be competing for a top prize of $100,000 for the best mobile game build using the new Project Anarchy mobile game development engine.
Rovio’s pig-centric physics-based puzzle game Bad Piggies is getting into the Halloween spirit with a new update called Tusk ‘til Dawn that has just arrived and is now available for download. This update brings an additional 30 levels to Bad Piggies, all of which are themed around the spooky holiday everyone loves.
Spacetime Games, formerly known as Spacetime Studios, have announced their next game which is called Battle Command. This will be an MMO strategy warfare game where players will be given a small group of soldiers which you will use to build the best possible military force.
Quark Games has pushed out a new update for their cross-platform multiplayer PvP game Champs: Battlegrounds. This update brings some pretty big changes to the game itself as it includes a new relic system, leveling and an entire tournament points system to keep track of the points you earn when entering tournaments.
A new installment into the Real Steel franchise has arrived today from developers Reliance Entertainment. This new game, officially called Real Steel: World Robot Boxing, brings with it more content and fighting than the previous games as well as better graphics and new robots to use.
