Mad Catz unveiled their entry into the Android-powered console arena during E3 2013 which is called Mojo. While the console was on display at E3 and subsequent shows for some hands-on loving, the hardware within the console itself was there was more for showing the prototype console then actually being finalized hardware for a production release.
Even though the new Nexus 7 Android tablets were announced only a couple of days ago and are slated to hit Google Play for purchase on July 30th, 2013, if you happen to be the sort of person that doesn’t like waiting a few extra days to order yours then you might want to head on over to Amazon where the $229 WiFi model is already up there for sale.
Square Enix has made one of their games on Android just a little bit more accessible as they have put Chaos Rings up on Sony’s Playstation Mobile store. This is the first Square Enix title to appear on the store and while most Android users shouldn’t have a problem grabbing their games off of Google Play, those of you who prefer Sony’s store can now grab a copy of Chaos Rings off of there.
Back in the beginning of June 2013 we talked about Tin Man Games and that their next Fighting Fantasy title slated for release would be Appointment With F.E.A.R. and while this is still true the company has posted a rather large blog post about some big changes heads our way from Tin Man Games. Vector Unit’s newest addition to their catalog of awesome games happens to be the very recently released sequel to Riptide GP. While the game was just released onto Android and iOS, no official version has made its way over to Ouya. Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t side-load the game onto your Android-powered console after buying it off of Google Play and that is exactly what one Ouya owner did.
Harebrained Schemes have finally launched Shadowrun Returns onto PC via Steam as of yesterday and while this probably made a lot of people happy there is on question that remains – Where is the tablet version of the game promised in the Kickstarter campaign? Well last week a new trailer was released for Shadowrun Returns and that is where something quietly happened, the release information changed.

Well Google’s newest application is no exception to the rule which means the Google Play Games app that arrived yesterday has an Easter Egg that has been discovered.
The developers of Dark Summoner and Dark Rebirth have a new game in the works and they are gearing up for the game’s official launch which will be happening soon. ATeam’s newest game is called War of Legions and this particular game is going to be a real-time guild battle RPG.
One game we have talked about a few times in the recent past was a game called TurtleStrike by eeGon. This particular game is all about taking your team of bad ass turtles, heavily armed ones at that, and destroying anyone else who tries to challenge your turtles with their own team. Well TurtleStrike has now launched on Google Play as of yesterday. Today, however, is the big day and that is because the first TurtleStrike tournament is starting and you’ll have a chance to win a piece of the $5,000 prize pool. And yes, that is real money.
Galaxy on Fire 2 HD is a rather good space Action-RPG shooter type of game that has been a Tegra exclusive title for quite some time now. However that exclusivity has come to an end and the folk over at Fishlabs have released the game onto Google Play for everyone with a device that can support playing the game. Not every device will be able to run this game due to how high-end the visuals are.
