Seems as though GetJar isn’t the only one to be effected by the launch of Angry Birds full for Android. Rovio’s main website is also now down for the count due to the ridiculous amount of traffic. While not serious gaming news the point of this post is to remind everyone that Angry Birds is available through GetJar (preferably mobile) and the Android Market.
Being based out of Las Vegas, I see gambling all the time, daily. You can’t even walk into a 7-11 here without tripping over a slot machine with video poker and other games on it. Full Tilt Poker has been a major player in the poker game for awhile now both with their online poker site and their continuous strong showings in various poker tournaments like the WSOP.
The moment you have all been waiting for is finally here. While I’m sure every other Android site has already announced this we will do so as well. While playing a lot of puzzle, shooters, platformers or whatever your cup of tea is, you want a change and feel like playing a racing game but nothing too serious. Enter Pac-Man Kart Rally from Namco…
Rovio was nice enough to send us a early copy of Angry Birds and let me say this right off the start, it has a LOT of content. 150 levels worth of content to be exact not including the Golden Eggs you need to achieve. The UI has been changed a bit as well with expanding/contracting menus on the start page, sliding level selection screens. It is slick.
NAND flash chips in your phone keeping you waiting, sucking your battery dry? How about a 10,000 times speed increase and using “virtually zero” power in standby? Sharp and it’s new partner Elpida announced development on their Resistive Random Access Memory dubbed ReRAM that does exactly that.
