While of the more popular platform shooters from back in the day has been the Contra series of games. CocoaChina/Chukong have secured the rights to publish the game worldwide from Konami, making this the first fully licensed mobile version on a Contra game. Contra Evolution has been out since January in China but now that the rights to publish worldwide have been secured it will be coming to the US soon.

To start things off Square Enix has released Drakerider onto Android finally. We actually talked about this game back in February of this year as coming to Android and it has finally made its way here.

A lot of people have pointed out that the original pricing of $349 is just a bit too high when it comes to considering purchasing this device.
Ubisoft’s companion app for their Watch Dogs game has essentially been turned into a game itself. Technically this is more of a game than an app although it really is a bit of both. Regardless of what exactly this application now is, Watch Dogs Live has undergone a soft launch in Canada to do some final testing before it launches worldwide. When that happens, if you’re at the top of the leaderboard when the game end, you’ll win a car.
Talisman Prologue HD is a board game that has been around for quite a long time. This game is also available for iOS devices. I never played this game before but after trying the electronic version, I think I would have liked the board game.
Warner Bros have finally decided that it is time to bring Scribblenauts Remix over to Google Play, dropping the temporary exclusive that Amazon’s AppStore has had for the past couple of months. For those of you not familiar with this game, Scribblenauts Remix is actually quite the unique puzzle game.
The rather cool and popular RPG called Knights of Pen and Paper from Paradox Interactive and Behold Studios has received an update, making it officially now known as the Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition. Aside from the fancy +1 added to the game’s name, the update actually brings a whole lot of additional content to the game.
TwitchTV’s application on Google Play will soon be getting an update that will allow you to follow your favorite streamers that you like to watch. It has been well stated that the application has been missing a few key features that users would have liked to have seen when it originally launched and hopefully this is the beginning of bringing some of those features to the app.

So over the past day the DroidLanding Twitter account became active once again and as of yesterday had been teasing an augmented reality game that is tied to this year’s promotion that the DroidLanding Twitter account is doing. The game, called D:Com, is on Google Play but isn’t available for download just yet. However a leaked version of the game is now available today.
