Nvidia has announced this morning that when Nvidia’s Shield, their Android-powered handheld gaming device, launches that there will be more than 25 games tuned up for Tegra 4 devices. By tuned up we means enhanced with higher end graphics and controls for Nvidia’s Shield as well as other Tegra 4 devices.
Battle Bears have been a popular franchise for awhile now with a variety of titles available on Android and iOS already. However SkyVu Entertainment is gearing up to release a new online multiplayer shooter called Battle Bears Gold which will feature cross-platform multiplayer gaming for PC, smartphones and tablets.
Glu Mobile is teaming up with Skillz to bring real-money gambling to their mobile games. The first game to receive this new feature will be Deer Hunter Reloaded since it is legal in 37 states to bet on games based around skill while actual online gambling on games revolving around chance is only legal right now in three states.
While this isn’t a movie spin-off game like two of the titles already out today, this is still a spin-off game but themed after the Ninja Warrior game that has been quite popular these days and is based off of the long running show called Sasuke in Japan. This game is pretty much like the TV show and you can even win prizes in the competitions that will be held on an on-going basis.
Quark Games has announced their newest title Champs: Battlegrounds with looks to be a pure head-to-head player-vs.-player online game that will also feature cross-platform gameplay on smartphones and tablets. This particular game has players building a squad from a selection of ‘Champs’ or heroes.
The only difference between the iOS version of The Sandbox and the Android version for the most part has been that the Android version has not had humans available in-game. Well that has all changed with the new update that has arrived today, bringing humans to the game in a variety of ways.

A couple of weeks ago we talked about the movie spin-off zombie survival game World War Z and that it would be arriving on May 30th. Sure enough today is the 30th of the month and World War Z has been released onto Google Play for anyone looking for a little zombie FPS survival action.
Recently BlueStacks had announced that soon it would be releasing its own Android-based console system called GamePop which would be subscription-based in terms of accessing games. The unit itself has been up for pre-orders where you could get the console for free if you paid for a year’s worth of subscription service.
A couple of days ago we mentioned that EA’s Real Racing 3 would be getting a pretty decent sized update soon that would bring a new city to race through, new events and some new cars to try and collect. Well that update has now arrived and is available for download.
