Gamevil’s widely popular baseball series of games called Baseball Superstars just had another member of the family added to it. Baseball Superstars II comes with just about every feature from previous versions improved upon as well as a host of new features including a ton more character customization.
There are two new platformers that are being developed, one already is out for iOS, that may soon be making their way to Android as well. While both are platform games, both have completely opposite gameplay styles. Let us introduce you to Idyllic by FatCowGames and Wyv and Keep by A Jolly Corpse.
A lot of game developers release some pretty great games that unfortunately don’t get a lot of exposure on the Android Market. Sometimes it’s due to a lot of games being uploaded to the market making the ‘Just in’ category a fast-paced game itself. Other times it could just be lack of media announcements or just being passed over by users.
Two stories that came out this weekend, actually late Friday, are pretty interesting. The first is about an iOS developer who saw a staggering 91% piracy rate for their game on the App Store. This shows that Android isn’t the only one that suffers from piracy. The second story is about Yonghz and his emulators which were pulled off the market.
Well here is something to make you think this Monday morning. Fresh off the lovely thing we call the internet is a story about a former Gameloft employee who is accusing the mobile gaming publisher of overworking their employees who also cites “dangerous working conditions”.
Back in January of this year we reported on a subscription-based game market that would be coming to Android soon. This service by Exent would feature Netflix-style services but with Android games instead of movies. Exent has finally released this service publicly and you can try it out for free.

EA is being sneaky these days it seems as last week we saw the quiet launch of their Android Flexion store along with one game being released for the Xperia Play called D.A.R.K. Well this week we find another game quietly released onto the EA Flexion Store in the form of Battlefield: Bad Company 2.
There’s a new puzzle game on the block called Psychoban which, if you fail at Sokoban games like I do half the time, really does make you Psycho. However, Psychoban not only builds on the whole Sokoban puzzle game, it brings with it some pretty nice looking visuals to bring more depth to the game.
