Just after writing the previous post regarding NOVA 2 game art I happened to spot an interesting tweet that mentioned there would be no Angry Birds 2 by Rovio. While this may be a bit confusing considering what Rovio CEO, Peter Vesterbacka, said at the Virtual Goods Summit the other day, it could mean a couple things.
Some gamers like to read ahead regarding the storyline of upcoming games while others enjoy experiencing the storyline of a game they are playing first hand, while actually playing the game. I fall into the second group of people but I do enjoy seeing concept art. Gameloft’s upcoming addition to the NOVA series of games just had some great concept art released.

Developer Pelya who brought us OpenTyrian has now ported over OpenTTD to Android. OpenTTD is an open source clone of Transport Tycoon Deluxe which most people would argue is better then the actual original game.
Samsung Galaxy Tablet, the first real Android tablet? While a lot of other companies have released tablets using Android, the Galaxy Tablet has so far been considered the real first tablet. Available on multiple carriers, this 7″ tablet is available with or without contract. Verizon just dropped one off on our doorstep so we did what any good site would do, recorded myself unboxing it!
Qualcomm has seen tremendous success with their implementation of the high-end ARM Cortex architecture – Snapdragon. Earlier in the year many Android phones have launched with their first generation Snapdragon chips and today they’ve announced a major leap forward, bringing greater efficiency and nearly 5 times the performance to mobile gaming and tablet devices.
Our friends over at Spacetime Studios, developers of the first cross-platform 3D MMORPG for Android called Pocket Legends, just sent us some great news. Pocket Legends for Android is now officially launched, meaning it is now out of beta status!
