Two games have successfully achieved their funding goals over on Kickstarter with both games coming to OUYA while one of the games is also slated for an Android release and the other game will arrive on Android devices should it reach one of their stretch goals. Interestingly enough, both games also have almost the same amount of time remaining in their campaigns on Kickstarter.
Kemco, the developers behind a nice array of retro-style RPGs on Google Play, have put almost all of their games on sale for 75% off for a limited time. The sale starts today and will net you one or more of their retro-style RPGs for $1.99 each instead of the regular price of $3.99.
Well we have been reporting on an update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition we have labeled as the 0.5.1 update, which is what this was supposed to be, but now Mojang has turned around and labeled this update as the official 0.6.0 update instead. That means everything in the 0.5.1 update we have been talking about will actually arrive as 0.6.0. This also means that everything we were talking about before as coming in the 0.6.0 update will actually arrive in 0.7.0. Confusing isn’t it?
Terry Cavanagh is known for coming up with brilliantly designed (not to mention devilishly challenging) games. His latest one – Super Hexagon – is a masterpiece. The game redefines the definition of “tough as nails” for Android games – be warned that this is not meant for the faint-hearted. So just what exactly is so great about this game? Read on to find out.
It was bound to happen just like it does when any sort of major game release is on the horizon, fake apps trying to fool people into downloading them named after the upcoming game in question’s release. So it has happened to Temple Run 2, just like it did with the original game’s launch as well.
While 2012 didn’t violently explode as predicted, the same can’t be said about mobile gaming. We’ve packed in hours into high budget console-like games but all lacked a standout experience Ingress was something of a bucket of cold water; new, simple and yet fun but was limited to a small lucky folks who were granted beta.
The world of tech blogs seems to be rather excited today as a few rumors and announcements have happened with one of the main ones coming from Sony who officially announced (or confirmed depending on how you look at it) their upcoming quad-core, and ultra thing, Xperia Tablet Z. While we still get to deal with one letter names, at least now we can tack on the Xperia brand name on there as well.
Tupsu- The Furry Little Monster is a game we mentioned in our most recent Under the Radar series and is currently up for vote in the newest Game of the Week poll going on right now. Tupsu is, you guessed it, a furry little monster but instead of arms, he has very handy tentacles. Wait, can I call them handy if the tentacles only have eyes at the ends? Anyway he uses these tentacles to pull him along through different environments.
Way back in 2011 we talked about a new racing game Polarbit had been working on called Cracking Sands. This particular racing game is a little different than there normal type of racing game that the company releases and that is because it is more of a kart racing style game with defensive and offensive power-ups you can use.
We’ve talked a couple of times in the recent past about Terry Cavanagh’s rather popular indie game Super Hexagon coming to Android and now it has finally arrived. You might remember our last article about Super Hexagon where we mentioned it wouldn’t be available for the Nexus 7. Well that changed and it is also available for Nexus 7 owners.
