You may have noticed that over the past month or two a few new author names popping up here on DroidGamers in articles. That is because over the past couple of months we have been slowly adding new writers to our staff and now seems like a good time to officially welcome them all.
Interesting little bit of news coming from Crytek regarding tablets and next gen consoles. It seems that Crytek holds the belief that if next gen consoles don’t come out soon, that tablets could very well surpass consoles in terms of being the first device people reach for when wanting to play games.
Developers of the vintage themed arcade game called Jumping Electron have pushed out a couple of updates recently which brings quite a bit more content to it. In total, there is now 80 levels in total to delicately work your way through as fast as you can.

It was only a couple of weeks ago when we reported on Sony and the fact that they were turning down people needing their Android devices repaired if they have, or have had, their bootloaders unlocked. Granted we are going to assume that this will be a female bird and not a female pig simply because there have been no prior teasing of pig characters for Angry Birds.
A new platformer is gearing up for release by Ilot Benton called Towel Tim which will let you have all the great platform gaming you want with a character that is half naked and a rather good shot when it comes to using his towel as a weapon.
Another TCG (Trading Card Game) is on the way to Android in the near future thanks to a new partnership between DeNA and Marvel. The new TCG will be called Marvel: War of Heroes and will be released onto their Mobage social gaming platform when it arrives.
