We’ve learned more about the future of Google’s dessert themed update strategy and their both set to bring huge changes to the platform. Google has also officially targeted the latter at tablets with manufacturers already signing on for Google’s more tablet friendly OS.
ahhh… The Android Playstation phone. This device has already become a legend and it hasn’t even been released yet. Getting details on this device has also been a royal pain but as time passes it seems more come to the surface of the rumor pool. Today the Wall Street Journal is the source of new information regarding the possible Android Playstation phone.

The awesome game Pocket Legends has grown some 125,000 account since it came to Android, probably more now. To celebrate, Spacetime Studios held a week long Scavenger Hunt in which people could find the lovable robot in-game and get some green antennas. We also were one of the sites to be lucky enough to give away a limited edition Android character.
It is no secret that PopCap has been late to release anything for Android even though they were one of the first to mention Android support when Flash was announced. However, you can still get your Plants vs Zombies fix thatnks to developers Gzorz with their game, Leave Devil Alone, which is a top quality clone of the popular PopCap game.
While most ports of Doom and similar games have been yanked off the Android Market, there are two open source ones you can still play. However if you don’t want to bother mucking around getting them to run on your Android phone, or you’re just lazy, you can enjoy all the demon blasting you want with this great new live wallpaper.
There are a ton of match-3 or more type games on the Android Market. Regardless if they feature falling blocks like Tetris or they are more of a bubble popping clone, most feature the same style of gameplay with little else to offer. Ka-Glom, however, throws a bit of a twist into the whole idea with 2 types of blocks but only one type can explode.
One of the two main cross-platform social gaming platforms has received a pretty big update. After listening to developers and user feedback, Scoreloop has released version 2.0 of their SDK. Developers can now add even more features to their games and users have a lot more options available to play around with.
Pocket Legends is a game we’ve been following for a while here on DroidGamers and we’ll tell you why – It’s a deep 3D MMORPG with lots of levels and it’s for our favorite platform, Android.
