If you have been following us on Twitter for any length of time, you have probably seen us on occasion harassing Crescent Moon Games about releasing their games onto the Android platform. Well we have some good news today as that will actually be finally happening and the first title to arrive will be Aralon: Sword and Shadow.
Gamevil is continuing their strong push onto Android with a continuous stream of game releases over the past two month and today is no different. Their newest offering is heading back to the RPG genre with a focus on party-based play with a game called Epic Raiders.
The Co-creator of the rather awesome game World of Goo Kyle Gabler, along with Tomorrow Corporation’s Henry Hatsworth creator Kyle Gray, and former Electronic Arts employee Allan Blomquist, have announced what their next game will be and it is called Little Inferno.
It seems as though TCG (Trading Card Games) titles are starting to make a comeback lately with a fair amount of titles already having been released and with more coming soon. The latest addition to the TCG genre is a game we have talked about a couple of times already called Gang Domination from Gameloft.
Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4 won’t be arriving on current smartphones and tablets, at least for now
We haven’t flogged the Unreal Engine horse enough lately so it is about time we gave it another round. This comes courtesy of Alan Willer, Epic Games’ senior technical artist who has mentioned that the upcoming Unreal Engine 4 won’t be coming to current-gen smartphones and tablets.
Not that this rumor is really that surprising and actually in fact that a Nexus 10 tablet wasn’t unveiled at Google I/O is more surprising than this rumor is. However, if you want a Nexus 7 tablet but prefer the large 10″ tablet variety, you may actually be in luck.
GameStop has been selling a bit of a selection of Android tablets for a little while now and it appears that they are planning to add one more tablet to that list. The Nexus 7 tablet (16GB model) will be added to their catalog of Android tablets available for purchase and GameStop has already begun taking pre-orders.
A game we have talked about in the past which is basically a tribute game to Counter-Strike has finally crossed the threshold of beta status and is now out in a complete version. If you are a fan of Counter-Strike then you’ll be happy to know that you can now basically play that game but on your Android device.
Madfinger Games and their upcoming zombie-filled FPS title happens to be a game a lot of people are eager to get their grubby little hands on including us. Well we are pleased to be able to inform everyone who is waiting that you won’t actually have to wait much longer since we now have an official release date for when the game will land on Android.
Big news out of left field coming from Ubisoft today as they have announced that their popular Nintendo DS (also available on consoles in HD) title, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes, will be making it’s way to Android and iOS in the near future. On top of that, the game will apparently sport some new online features as well.
