A hit indie adventure game that is currently available for the PC, Mac and iOS has finally crossed the mobile ocean and arrived onto Android. Developed by State of Play Games, Lume is an incredible unique game where the world is made out of cardboard and paper. Don’t go thinking this is a ‘Doodle’ style game though!
As much as I like Android, there’s no denying the huge amount of fragmentation when it comes to software. Google announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on the first day of Google I/O, and it’s only coming to a handful of devices in July. The Motorola Xoom, Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S are first on the update list, but there’s no telling when other devices will be so lucky.

Keeping with the going trend of rather big releases and Android gaming news in general, we talked about an adventure game back in August of 2011 that was getting remastered and released onto Android. This classic adventure game, called Broken Sword: The Director’s Cut, is now available on the Google Play store.
We knew today was going to be a good day for gaming news once again but we didn’t expect to wake up to this little gem of a game being on the Google Play store. Actually it isn’t little and as a huge Final Fantasy fan myself, seeing Final Fantasy III on the Google Play store is a good way to start the day.
Developers at Bulkypix, along with Android newcomer Appxplore, have just released a one of a kind game on Google Play. “Lightopus” puts you in the boots of the only survivor of all the Lightopus species, and as such you must rescue the remaining young Lightopuses, which happen to be trapped in the not so friendly Abyss.
