In an interview with Ars Technica, Mark Rein comments about the Android OS and Unreal Engine. Overall the interview is great and is definitely a good read. Most of it is focused on iOS and Infinity Blade, however, Mark Rein does comment on Android. The Unreal Engine is up and running for Android, but we already knew that.
Angry Birds developers, Rovio, decided to spill the beans about the upcoming update to the Android version at a press conference today. The big feature that is coming: in-game purchases! To be available first in Finland and then spreading elsewhere, Rovio will be introducing in-game purchases for two major features users have been asking for.
Gameloft has once again mistakenly jumped the gun on some Android releases. Sports, music and racing game fans will have a few more titles to pony up that $5 or so dollars for the pleasure of playing the games which we hope are more than just a mistake.

Some games that comes out for Android are great to play right off the jump while others are good but have the potential to become great. Tank Hero Beta is one of those games that has the potential to be great. As it stands, in beta form, it is a good, addictive game to play, especially if you like driving around and blowing other tanks up!

The version within the update is, indeed, a demo version which we figured it would be. Based out of Canada, Ratrod Studios Inc has released their popular 3D drift racing game, Drift Mania Championship, onto the Android Market. In the fashion of Gran Turismo style of racing, you’ll have some sweet looking cars to whip around tracks, drifting all over the place and trying to get the fastest time possible for each track.
Hackers with political motivation, being called hactivists by the media are using a tool known as Low Orbit Ion Cannon (found on the internet with a simple search) to attack PayPal, MasterCard, and Visa. Credit processors stopped donations to WikiLeaks, a Whistle-Blowing website out of fear of legal recourse. It disrupted the ability to make purchases in the Android Market for several hours as a result.
