A developer going by the name of Logastrod has taken cloning popular games to a whole new level. Not only has this developer cloned a lot of the currently popular games out right now for Android, right down to the copy/pasting of descriptions from the actual games, but they also contain malware apparently.
Eve of the Genesis, while hardly a new title, is proving itself to be one of the more popular examples of a 16-bit (That’s Super Nintendo/Genesis era for you young’ns) RPG throwback. Eve of the Genesis begins as most RPG’s of the era, with your main character privy to the first cracks of a potentially world shattering event.
You may or may not remember back in August when Mojang put up a limited edition Minecraft themed Xperia Play for sale on eBay. By the time the auction was over it had sold for a ridiculous $1525 although all the proceeds were given to a charity of Mojang’s choice. Well another one has appeared on eBay.
TinyCo has a released a new game on the Android Market last week called Tiny Village. TinyCo has a few games on the Android market (VIP Poker, Tap Resort Party) and quite a few on the iOS market. The one interesting fact about this game is that it was built using the Griffin Engine. This allows the company to build social games once and deploy them on iOS and Android markets simultaneously.
Sunday Morning Fun: Hit physics-based puzzle game, Cut The Rope, gets a little cartoon of it’s own
A couple of days ago Zeptolabs, developers of the very popular physics-based puzzle game Cut The Rope, released a neat little cartoon featuring the game’s main character On Nom. So we figured for a bit of fun we would post it here as part of your Sunday morning cartoons. Admit it, you still watch cartoons every morning don’t you?
Today is yet another day in Google’s massive 10 billion downloads promo where they are celebrating with some developers by offering up games and apps for only a dime. There are a bunch of new titles available on the Android Market for this sale.
With the advent of mobile gaming, developers are slowly releasing games that eclipses most console titles. Nintendo and Sony’s portable devices such as the 3ds and PlayStation Portable are currently taking hits from mobile devices. Androids and iOS are taking larger bites from their market shares every year. Android and iOS are slowly overtaking the portable gaming field.
It’s been a couple of weeks since we posted in our series of Minecraft: Pocket Edition user-made structure series. We’ve seen a lot of cool retro gaming statues built so far and even an underwater palace. Today we are showcasing another structure, built by the same person who made the underwater palace but this time it’s his Sky Palace.
A couple of days ago we posted about GREE finally expanding into markets outside of Asia including North America thanks to their ownership of OpenFeint. Along with this expansion were titles like Yakuza, Resident Evil VS and others that would be making their way to us.
