Square Enix is teaming up with Epic Games to bring the Unreal Engine built card-based RPG title Demons’ Score to Android (and iOS). While this is another announcement from the Tokyo Game Show that comes with very little details, we do know some things.
While we, unfortunately, can’t be in Tokyo for the Tokyo Game Show this year, being a Final Fantasy fan I personally damn near had a nerdgasm reading that Square Enix has announced it would be coming to Android in 2012 in the form of Final Fantasy: Legends.
We were at VDCC yesterday talking with some folks from Sony Ericsson and Qualcomm and during our talk with Sony Ericsson it was mentioned that FIFA 12 by EA will be coming much more sooner than we expected. In our last article about FIFA 12 we guesstimated that it would be released sometime in January on 2012.
You can now add at least one more device that is being supported by Gameloft’s MMORPG called Order and Chaos. It comes as no surprise to us either that it would be the Xperia Play that is now being supported and all the controls that come with this phone.
One RPG title that a lot of people have been waiting for, including ourselves, is one called Earth and Legend by DvideArts. If the name of the developer sounds familiar, that is because they have also developed Crusade of Destiny and Welcome to Hell. Now Earth and Legend has invaded the Android Market.
We know we don’t usually cover phone updates, but this is a big one — without prior notice T-Mobile and HTC have shipped out an update that adds video chat through gtalk along with a slightly cosmetically updated interface to the free talk client. This outdates the Qik client already in place on the Sensation via T-Mobile. Also added is native screenshot support anywhere in the OS.
You may or may not remember back in the beginning of August that we featured a YouTube user in our Tuesday Afternoon Awesomeness post that created a dark, twisted type of Angry Birds motion comic. It was definitely not a nice cute take on the Angry Birds universe and we wanted more.
Madfinger Games’ upcoming console-quality game called Shadowgun looks to be nearing a release onto Android soon. Today the developers announced the release date for the iOS version of Shadowgun, coming out on Sept 28th, with the Android version for dual- and quad-core devices after that.
Rovio’s massively successful series of games featuring some rather Angry Birds have been downloaded just over 350 million times across all platforms of mobile devices that the games are available on. This includes the original Angry Birds, Seasons and of course, Rio as well.
