You may remember the name Dvide Arts from their previous 3D games that are pretty big hits on Android called Crusade of Destiny and Welcome to Hell. Since then we have been following their progress on their new RPG title called Earth and Legend with high hopes for another winner. Today, we get a trailer.
Well it happened a little sooner than we expected but we aren’t complaining. Rovio just pushed out the latest Angry Birds Seasons update, called Summer Pignic, onto the Android Market. Once again though, just like the Christmas update, you’ll only be able to play one level per day.
Last year when the App Inventor for Android came out, we were in the original beta and saw a few features that had yet been implemented. These features including transferring data to and from game servers and other similar features. We took an educated guess at this being a similar system like iOS has with their Game Center.
Lodsys LLC, if you haven’t heard about them yet, is a company that holds a patent that applies to ‘in-app purchases’ even though applying it to mobile in-app purchases is stretching it. Lodsys LLC isn’t just hitting Android indie developers, a bunch over on the iOS platform also have received letters of intent from the company.
Some interesting news has come to light earlier this afternoon about Cut the Rope coming to Android and the CTRAndroid Twitter account associated with it. Earlier on the twitter account they mentioned that they are not Zepto Labs, the developers of Cut the Rope which sent some red flags to a few sites.
Yesterday saw Gameloft’s entrance into the MMORPG arena on Android as they finally launched Order & Chaos. The second part of the good news was that it was available on the Android Market instead of the usual format of having to go to their own storefront. So where is everyone?
Yesterday we announced that the new update coming soon to Angry Birds Seasons would be called Summer Pignic. Well today Rovio has released a trailer to give a little more insight as to what this update will include theme-wise aside from the standard golden eggs to find.
Gamelion has a few games out already on Android that happen to be quite popular such as Doodle Fit and I Must Run. Their newest game that just landed on the Android Market brings even more style to their line-up of titles in this black and white (and red) action game called Draw Slasher.
G5 Entertainment have been making casual games for quite a few platforms over the last little while including PC, Mac, and iOS devices. Well they are gearing up to start their casual game invasion onto Android now with a total of 5 titles that will start making it onto the android Market beginning June 30th, 2011.
PopCap games have finally released their third title onto the Android platform, again through the Amazon App Store. This also makes it today’s free game of the day over at the Amazon App Store so if you have access to it, and have been wanting this game, now is a good time to go get it.
