Awhile back we reported on a MMORPG coming to Android called TibiaME by Cipsoft. A lot of current people who play TibiaME also own Android phones so the requests for an Android version were pretty numerous. The beta, and also a more home brew method, were available for Android devices but set at a small resolution.
Well now that the bad news regarding the Xperia Play, at least for our friends in New Zealand, is out of the way, there is some good news to report on as well. For all of us Android gamers here in the US, the Xperia Play on Verizon has finally gotten a pre-order and launch date along with some pricing to round it all off.
Well here is something you don’t hear every day. According to their Facebook page, Vodafone in New Zealand has had their entire stock of Xperia Plays for use in the launch of the device down there stolen. Yes, you read that right. The entire stock of Xperia Play Android devices has been ripped off.

Gameloft has once again revised their DRM policy with a change to the ability to re-download purchased games once you get a new Android device. Previously, unless you went through customer service, you wouldn’t be able to download purchased games onto your new Android device. That has changed.
So it seems as though PopCap Games has finally decided to release Plants vs Zombies and Chuzzle onto the Android platform. While we have been hearing that this would be coming soon for quite some time now, PopCap Games has released actual launch details. These two games may actually get released!
