If you are an owner of the PSX4Droid ver.2 emulator which emulates Playstation games, you’ll be sad to know that it has been pulled off the Android Market due to, according to Google, violations regarding the Android Market content policies. Developer ZodTTD, however, is blaming the launch of the Xperia Play.
Thankfully someone over at CNet Asia decided to compile a list of games currently optimized for the Xperia Play. Obviously over the course of the next little while this list will become much larger as it seems it is fairly easy for developers to add controls for the Xperia Play to their games. So, if you’re curious, check out the list after the break.
Power Snooker from My Interactive brings some serious rush-style Snooker to Android. Trophy not included.
In other non-shaving related news, My Interactive has brought Power Snooker to Android. Unlike normal Snooker, Power Snooker takes the game and adds a rush-style poker element to it along with way to get double points which is what counts in this game, not frames won. Tap Tap Revenge has been waiting to come out on the Android platform for awhile now and thanks to Google actually having in-game purchasing go live today, Tap Tap Revenge (a.k.a Tap Tap Revenge 4 or TTR for short) is also now available for all you music-loving gamers out there who enjoy Guitar Hero style games.
Not barely 24hrs after Rovio announced that Angry Birds Rio would be coming to the Android Market, it has now arrived. Last night Google decided that it was time for in-app purchasing to leave the final testing phase it entered last week and go fully live. Also to help with the launch, a few developers have released games featuring in-app purchases already. Of course they were all games which is fine with us! It’s good to see this finally available for everyone.

RIFT is a new 3D MMORPG which is pretty awesome in it’s own right. Today they announced that they will be launching a new authentication service today which is always good when it comes to the security of your account. Blizzard has a battle.net authenticator application for Android and RIFT has already released theirs today. There is one catch though.
