Droidkoban, by developer Leihwelt, is a new 3D Puzzle game featuring our beloved little Android as he moves through various stages moving boxes to where they need to go in order to proceed to the next stage. All the graphics are done using OpenGL ES technology and game play is done via the trackball.
All this week we will be giving away games and other prizes for our first contest! Today is the first day of prize winners and so far we have two winners already. I miss the days of school where we made paper airplanes and threw them in class while waiting for it to start. It would have been nice to just have this game instead and would have avoided some of the trouble I got into when I was at school. My Paper Plane is a 3D flight simulator style game where you control a little paper airplane.
While today is a great day for Droid Gamers and our contest and everyone else seems to be having a great day, Android users in S.Korea, especially the game loving ones, got some bad news today. The Android market will NOT include games in S.Korea! This is a ‘compromise’ basically because the Android market had a possibility of being blocked in S.Korea.
I know I know I’ve been tagging everyone along with previews of the multi-game giveaway we are having but the wait is over! We are starting it today and it will last one week exactly with winners every day. There’s a few ways to enter which we will go over in just a second as well as what all the prizes are.
Well after taking two days off for Easter it’s time to dive right back into things and what better way to do that then to showcase some updates to some big gaming titles. We also got some major announcements to make today although I’ll save that for a post a little later. For now though, these games just got updates so if you have them, go get your updates!
Jelly Risker by developer Free4Android is a Nintaii style puzzle game but more cartoon-like. The description on the market lacked a whole lot, in fact it was two words and no screen shots but curiosity got the better of me and I downloaded it onto my Nexus One. It’s actually a pretty fun little game. I have no idea if this is a port of another platform.

By mass I mean quantity and developer Yongzh who has developed an emulator for many console systems for use on our Android devices has just dropped an update to every single one of them. Yongzh was one of the first people to bring emulators to Android and they still remain the best so far to date.
