Gameloft has decided to go green today and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day but giving all us Android gamers a chance to win free Android HD games and possibly even a Galaxy Tablet! Great news right? Well not totally and here is why. This giveaway is only open to people in the UK so unless you spoof your carrier, you can’t win.
Fans of games such as Doodle Jump and other titles where you have to climb as high as you can to reach the goal of each stage while dodging obstacles and enemies will enjoy this game. Developed by Ominous Game Labs, Parachute is like Doodle Jump but the exact opposite in that you have to safely land at the bottom of the stage.
HyperDevBox’s first game was a mean looking arcade shooter called ExZeus which featured all the things you could want in a flying shooter such as OTS (over-the-shoulder) point of view, flying robots, big weapons, big bosses and big action. What is pretty impressive though was the game only required an extra 57MB download after install.
Once in awhile it is great to see people sticking by their believes, even if they are facing what could be a pretty promising career at a major company. In this instance, Sony has been looking around the internet for hackers who jailbreak various devices to add to their development team and one person they asked was Koush.
Square Enix just loves to release games onto Android with little or no warning it seems as yet another title has just landed on the Android Market. Big Cup Cricket has been cited as possibly one of the best Cricket sim sports games available right now by a few sources and we are now lucky enough to have it available for Android devices.
At little bit of a revelation has come out regarding Angry Birds Rio which is set to be released onto Android later this month. In a bit of a twist to the usual gameplay of saving the eggs from pigs, this version won’t have any eggs to save nor will it have any pigs. Instead, just some very angry birds and animals to save.
We mentioned awhile ago that Illusia from Gamevil would be coming to Android. In fact it was right before it was released onto iOS when we scooped that little bit of info. Since then we have all been very patient in waiting for it to land on Android. Well as of a few moments ago, that wait is over and it is now available!
For all of you who have been waiting for Asphalt 6 to be released for Android ever since we posted our little hands-on video of the game from CES 2011, the wait is finally over. Asphalt 6 is the latest installment into the Asphalt series of games from Gameloft and sports some new goodies for you to enjoy.
Since the Xoom, and Google’s Honeycomb update came around with it, many developers have raced to add support for Google’s latest OS.
