At CES 2011 there were a ton of new Android goodies to play around with. One of the more impressive phones was the Motorola Bionic which is a part of a few new awesome Motorola devices slated for release soon. While we were going to do a traditional type of hands-on, our device happen to have Dungeon Defenders installed on it.
So it seems Samsung may very well be releasing Android first ‘mini’ phone. The Samsung S5830, as it is dubbed, features an interesting silver/gray siding to it while the back is a nice glossy black, similar to the Nexus S. Judging from the photos it only has one rear facing camera and overall looks like a mini Nexus S with silver accents.
Well it seems Gameloft have been pretty busy lately as yet another title has shown up on their storefront for some users. The purchase page for Real Golf 2011 for Android has appeared on the site but as always, it shows up a couple of days before it is actually available so you can’t buy it just yet, give it till Friday.
Well why not round out the Gameloft news with a triple play shall we? It seems as though Gangstar: Miami Vindication HD isn’t the only game being leaked onto the site right before its official release. Seems Guitar Rock Tour 2 HD has also shown up on Gameloft’s storefront but instead of Argentina, this is in the UK.
The sequel to Ganstar: West Coast Hustle seems to be doing the “Lets leak the product page in a far away country” type of thing Gameloft just loves to do right before the game is actually released. Gangstar: Miami Vindication HD is currently available in Argentina for purchase. Of course we can expect the usual pattern from Gameloft.
Last month we mentioned that Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus was in a very secret and limited closed beta with only 50 people or so. Gameloft haven’t really let out any hints as to whether this game would be coming to Android or not, that is until now. Gameloft just tweeted that it is officially coming to Android very soon.
So the device that doesn’t exist, according to Sony Ericsson reps during CES 2011 we talked to, has gotten dismantled and laid naked in front of us for all to see. You would think by now they would just admit the damn thing exists outright and at least send us one! Ahh wishful thinking isn’t it? Anyways, TGBus decided to dismantle the Playstation Android phone.
Exent will be bringing their gaming-on-demand service, called GameTantium, to Android. This will allow you to play all the games you could want for a free with ad support. It also has a couple of pretty interesting features including continuous play from one device to another so you could be playing on one and switch to another device in the middle of playing.
So… everyone who has been calling the Honeycomb successor Ice Cream has been wrong… sort of. Actually the official name is going to be Ice Cream Sandwich… no seriously, it will be Ice Cream Sandwich. Quite the mouthful but according to TechCrunch who talked to Andy Rubin, that is what it will be.
Yesterday we posted that a Shift closed beta was announced by Handmark who will be more than likely publishing this game onto the Android Market for Armor Games. Within 25 minutes the beta was full and if you weren’t fast enough, you were left with a sad face. Well we found another reason why it was full so fast.
